The Reverend Jennifer Cho - BIO

Rev. Jennifer Cho was born in Seoul, Korea.  Her family immigrated to America in the late 70’s and settled in Queens, NY.  Graduating from Nyack College in Nyack, NY majoring in Business Management, she later received her Master of Divinity from the Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ.  While in seminary, she served as chaplain at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  Prior to her appointment at the United Methodist Church at Mt. Tabor, she was a pastor of the Korean Community Church in Englewood, NJ and the First United Methodist Church in Westfield, NJ.    

Her interests are in preaching, worship, Christian education, pastoral care, mission, renewal of church, and interfaith dialogue.  At the heart of her ministry is a love of God's people and of all God’s creation.

Jennifer and her husband, Rev. Dr. Brandon Cho, an appointed pastor of the United Methodist Church of Lake Hopatcong, enjoy reading, music, movies, gourmet cooking, fine dining, and travel.  They have two children, Elizabeth and Timothy and a 6-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Jodie baby, who all truly believe that she is a loving human being.
