Most precious, loving & gracious God, my prayer is for peace in this world that You so lovingly created.
That all people, no matter what their race or culture, would be able to live without fear of persecution, war or terrorism. Open our hearts, dear Lord, so that each and every one of us may do our part. Lord you are creator and sustainer of all. Help this great nation to return to You; continue to lead and to guide us.
And, for those who are serving in our military, protect and sustain them Lord. Replace fear with courage, loneliness with peace and uncertainty with Your amazing love.
I ask this in Jesus' name.
